ZBR Productions is a production collective concisting of Rut Karin Zettergren, Lena Bergendahl and Jennifer Rainsford, all fifth year students at the Royal University College of Fine Arts, Stockholm.

The first now ongoing project by ZBR is a documentary about the former LA-based rapper J-Ro of Tha Alkaholiks who a couple of years ago moved from USA to Malmö, Sweden.  
We are in the middle of a collaboration with Film Front Nairobi, concisting of Francis Ngira Okello, Joseph Mbuti och Edvine Maloba in Kenya. The project has the goal to produce two short films. One of the films will be produced i Kenya with a Swedish manuscript and the other one in Sweden with a Kenyan manuscript. By using film as a medium we want to investigate how we relate to the image of "the other. -In which ways does the two groups approach a, for them, foreign culture and how do they use it as a tool to study their own culture?  
   

Crystal Beacon is a web-based platform for sound, music and video art that is run by
Jennifer Rainsford, Lena Bergendahl and Rut Karin Zettergren.
It was founded in 2008 and created to experiment with the presentation of time based art
pieces to be specifically shown on the Internet in different web-based solutions.

Crystal Beacon is based on different themes, whereby every issue contains different artists.
It is the beginning of an archive of sound, video and images. Sorted on our interest and the
things we bounce in to.
